It wasn't the ending I was expecting. From the beginning of the book I felt lost and confused as to what was going on and who was doing what.There was little action, mostly scheming to make plans, and the ending was... okay. Agmundr has fought all this time... for it to end like that? Honestly, the series itself was great, but this last book left something to be desired.

A well written, action packed thriller with great characters and a plot that holds your attention and you can't put the book down. A must read series, but start with Summoned and then the other four books in sequence. Since I've been reading Mr. Walker's work for years, I contacted the author to review his books.
I wasn't sure what the author was planning when I started this series of books. I grew more and more interested in the growth and changes in the characters. I am glad I read all four books.
